Thermostat Installation Guide

Step-by-Step Setup for Popular Brands

Honeywell Thermostats
  1. Turn off power to your HVAC system.
  2. Remove the old thermostat and label the wires.
  3. Mount the new Honeywell thermostat base.
  4. Connect the wires according to the labels.
  5. Attach the thermostat to the base and restore power.
  6. Follow on-screen setup instructions.
Nest (Google) Thermostats
  1. Switch off power from the breaker panel.
  2. Remove the old thermostat and label the wires.
  3. Install the Nest base plate on the wall.
  4. Insert wires into the Nest connectors.
  5. Click the Nest display onto the base.
  6. Turn power back on and complete setup via the Nest app.
Ecobee Thermostats
  1. Turn off power to your HVAC system.
  2. Disconnect the old thermostat and label the wires.
  3. Install the Ecobee Power Extender Kit (if required).
  4. Mount the Ecobee backplate to the wall.
  5. Connect the wires and snap the Ecobee onto the base.
  6. Turn power back on and follow on-screen setup.
Emerson Thermostats
  1. Turn off HVAC power supply.
  2. Remove existing thermostat and mark wires.
  3. Mount the Emerson base to the wall.
  4. Reconnect wires to corresponding terminals.
  5. Install the Emerson thermostat onto the base.
  6. Power on and program settings.
Carrier Thermostats
  1. Shut off power to the HVAC system.
  2. Remove the old thermostat and document wire connections.
  3. Mount the Carrier base to the wall securely.
  4. Insert wires into matching terminals.
  5. Attach thermostat faceplate to the base.
  6. Restore power and complete setup wizard.

  5. Attach the Lux thermostat faceplate.
  6. Turn power back on and program settings as needed.
White-Rodgers Thermostats
  1. Turn off HVAC power supply.
  2. Remove the existing thermostat and label all wires.
  3. Mount the White-Rodgers backplate securely.
  4. Reconnect wires to the correct terminals.
  5. Attach the thermostat to the base.
  6. Restore power and complete setup instructions.
Sensi Thermostats
  1. Turn off power to your HVAC system.
  2. Remove the old thermostat and label each wire.
  3. Mount the Sensi thermostat base to the wall.
  4. Connect the wires according to the terminal labels.
  5. Attach the thermostat faceplate.
  6. Turn on power and configure Wi-Fi and app settings.
Dometic Thermostats
  1. Turn off power to your HVAC system or RV power supply.
  2. Remove the old thermostat and label all wires.
  3. Mount the Dometic thermostat backplate securely.
  4. Connect wires to the corresponding terminals.
  5. Attach the thermostat to the base.
  6. Restore power and configure temperature settings or Wi-Fi if applicable.
Siemens Thermostats
  1. Turn off power to your HVAC system.
  2. Remove existing thermostat and label each wire carefully.
  3. Mount the Siemens thermostat backplate.
  4. Reconnect wires to the correct terminals according to the manual.
  5. Attach the thermostat faceplate securely.
  6. Power on and configure the system via the Siemens interface or app.
