🔧 Common Issues
Unit not powering on
Cause: No power / Loose wiring.
Solution: Check RV battery / wiring connection.
Screen unresponsive
Cause: Touch panel issue.
Solution: Restart system or contact support.
Incorrect temperature
Cause: Blocked sensor.
Solution: Clean sensor & check airflow.
AC not cooling
Cause: Clogged filter / low refrigerant.
Solution: Replace filter / call technician.
Frequently Asked Questions – Dometic CT Thermostat
Tap and hold the power (capacitive touch) button for 3 seconds. The display will light up when powered on.
Ensure your fingers are dry and clean. If it still does not respond, reset the thermostat by turning off power at the breaker for 30 seconds.
Press and hold the + and – buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the display resets.
This can happen if the mode is set to Fan Only. Make sure the thermostat is set to Cool mode and check that the RV’s circuit breaker and fuses are intact.
Use the Mode button on the capacitive touch panel to cycle between Cool, Furnace, Fan, and Auto.
Check the fan setting. If set to ON, it will run continuously. Switch to AUTO to run only when heating/cooling is active.
Simply use the + and – touch buttons to set your desired temperature.
